Notices
Send the right notice, the right way, before the deadline
A notice sent by the wrong channel or to the wrong address may not count. Pactinel reads the contract's notice clause, drafts the letter from its data and records how and when it was sent.

Why it matters
Without Pactinel
- A termination letter goes by email when the contract requires registered post, and the notice is not valid.
- Letters are written from scratch each time, with the wrong address or addressee.
- When a dispute starts, nobody can prove when the notice was sent or received.
With Pactinel
- The notice clause, read for you
- A warning before a mistake
- Drafts from your data
- Proof on the record
What it does
The notice clause, read for you
Permitted channels, the address, the addressee and when a notice is deemed received are taken from the contract.
A warning before a mistake
Choosing a channel the contract does not allow shows a clear warning that must be acknowledged.
Drafts from your data
Termination, non-renewal, option exercise and price-increase letters are filled in from the contract and approved before they go out.
Proof on the record
Email notices keep their delivery record; letters by courier or registered post are printed and their tracking number and date are recorded.

Questions
Which notices can I prepare?
Termination, non-renewal, option exercise, price increase, default, guarantee return, document request and change of address, among others.
Can I record notices I receive?
Yes. Upload an incoming notice and it is placed on the contract's timeline with its effect, such as the date the other side ends the contract.
Does Pactinel decide whether a notice is valid?
No. Pactinel calculates, warns and drafts from the contract. You remain responsible for checking the notice before it is sent.
Does Pactinel send the notice for me?
Email notices keep their delivery record. Letters by courier or registered post are printed and sent by you, and you record the tracking number and date.
What happens if I choose the wrong channel?
Pactinel shows a clear warning when the channel is not one the contract allows, and the warning must be acknowledged before you continue.
Screens from Pactinel's demo workspace, which uses fictional sample data.
