Obligations and tasks

Turn what the contract says into work that gets done

Reports to deliver, audits to allow, payments to make, insurance to renew. Pactinel turns each obligation into a task with an owner and a due date, asks for evidence and routes it for approval.

My tasks in Pactinel: tasks grouped by due date with their contracts and owners

Why it matters

Without Pactinel

  • Reports, audits and insurance renewals the contract requires are remembered only when someone asks for them.
  • What the supplier owes you is never checked, so missed service levels go unclaimed.
  • When an auditor asks for proof, nobody can find who did the work or when.

With Pactinel

  • Ours and theirs
  • Recurring work, scheduled
  • Evidence and approval
  • Free for the people who do the work

What it does

  • Ours and theirs

Track the obligations you owe and the ones the other side owes you, each linked to the clause it comes from.

  • Recurring work, scheduled

Monthly reports or yearly audits repeat on their own schedule, and each occurrence is its own task with its own evidence.

  • Evidence and approval

Ask for a file, a link or a note before a task can be completed, and send it for approval when it matters.

  • Free for the people who do the work

Task owners act from the email they receive, see only the task and its clause, and never need a paid seat.

The obligations report shows what you owe and what is owed to you, by state and by contract, ready to export for an audit.

Questions

Do task owners need an account?

No. They can open the task from the email link, complete it and add evidence. They can sign in if they want to see all their tasks, and they never need a paid seat.

Can tasks repeat?

Yes. Obligations can repeat daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, and every occurrence gets its own task, due date and evidence.

What happens when a task is overdue?

It is marked overdue, the owner is reminded, and it appears on the overview and in the obligations report until it is done or waived with a reason.

Can I track what the other side owes us?

Yes. Every obligation is marked as ours or theirs. For theirs, the owner follows up with the counterparty and records the evidence when it arrives.

Does the AI find the obligations in a contract?

Yes. It proposes obligations with the clause they come from. They become tasks once a person verifies them.
