Guarantees and insurance
Know which guarantees and certificates are valid, expiring or ready to return
A guarantee that is never returned keeps costing fees. An expired insurance certificate leaves you exposed. Pactinel follows each one from request to return and tells you when to act.

Why it matters
Without Pactinel
- Bank guarantees stay open long after their purpose ended, and the bank keeps charging for them.
- A supplier's insurance certificate expires and nobody notices until a claim.
- Guarantee originals and their return conditions are scattered across departments.
With Pactinel
- Every kind of instrument
- A clear lifecycle
- The cost of waiting
- Required documents
What it does
Every kind of instrument
Bank guarantees, standby letters of credit, surety bonds, cash deposits, insurance policies and certificates, licences and permits.
A clear lifecycle
Requested, received, valid, extension requested, returnable, returned or called: each instrument shows where it stands and what comes next.
The cost of waiting
A returnable guarantee shows its monthly fee, so it is clear what holding on to it costs.
Required documents
Set rules such as a valid insurance certificate for every supplier of a type, and get alerts when one is missing, insufficient or expired.

Questions
What is a returnable guarantee?
A guarantee whose purpose has ended, for example after delivery or the warranty period, so it can be returned to the issuer and its fees stopped.
Can the AI read guarantees and certificates?
Yes. It extracts the amount, limits, expiry and beneficiary from the document, and you verify them like any other field.
Will I be warned before something expires?
Yes. Expiries become key dates with reminders, and they appear on the overview and in the calendar.
Can I require documents from every supplier of a type?
Yes. Set a rule, such as a valid insurance certificate for every logistics supplier, and Pactinel flags suppliers whose document is missing, insufficient or expired.
How is the cost of a guarantee shown?
A returnable guarantee shows its monthly fee until it is returned, so it is clear what holding on to it costs. The free guarantee cost calculator works out the total for any guarantee.
