Price escalations
Apply every price increase you are owed, and check every one you are charged
Index clauses are easy to forget and tedious to calculate. Pactinel reads the formula, fetches the official figures when they are published and shows the new price with every step of the calculation.

Why it matters
Without Pactinel
- The yearly increase a customer contract allows is forgotten, and the revenue is lost for good.
- Supplier increases are accepted without checking them against the clause and the index.
- Index figures are copied by hand from statistics websites, and the calculation lives in one person's spreadsheet.
With Pactinel
- Official index figures
- Real-world formulas
- A decision with the numbers
- Revenue leakage made visible
What it does
Official index figures
US CPI, EU HICP, UK CPI, CPIH and RPI and ECB exchange rates come from the official publishers, and you can add your own index.
Real-world formulas
Fixed rates, index plus a margin, the lower of an index and a cap, floors and weighted components are all supported.
A decision with the numbers
Each adjustment shows the old price, the index values, the formula, the new price and the date it takes effect. Approving it updates the contract.
Revenue leakage made visible
An increase you could have applied to a customer and did not is reported, so it is not quietly lost.

Questions
Which indices are supported?
US CPI-U and CPI-W, Eurostat HICP, UK CPI, CPIH and RPI, and ECB exchange rates, plus custom indices you maintain yourself.
Does approving an increase change the contract?
Approval writes the new price to the contract's terms with its effective date and keeps the previous price in its history.
Can I check increases my suppliers charge?
Yes. Supplier contracts get the same calculation, so you can compare the price you are invoiced with what the clause allows.
Are caps, floors and margins supported?
Yes. Fixed rates, an index plus a margin, the lower of an index and a cap, floors and weighted components are supported, and the calculation shows every step.
Which plans include price escalations?
Starter and above. The free index increase calculator on this website is open to everyone.
